Shaving
The cheap handles + expensive blades philosophy of the shaving industry is very annoyingly expensive. Additionally, shaving cream and most shaving gels generally don’t work well. They suffice, but that is all. I stumbled upon something better though. King of Shaves Alphagel shave gel works really, really well. It sells at a competitive price and it goes a long way. It doesn’t really smell good, but it isn’t offensive either. I highly recommend it. Also, throwing money at Gillette et. al. seems like a bad idea given their anti-consumer business model. I feel like I’ve solved the shaving cream problem. It turns out King of Shaves is a large British company that makes a whole bunch of shaving-related products, including other gels and…gasp a razor. I might have a new razor in my future.
