Sites
I looked into a bunch of sites for blog-like services and it came down to Weebly and Tumblr. I originally passed over Tumblr because the one line summary of it I read didn’t sound like what I wanted (perhaps too focused on multimedia). Weebly is nice, but their editor requires Flash which as we all know, sucks. Aside from requiring flash, the editor is confusing as well but that is a minor point. In general Weebly offers nice services for free, far more than just a blog. Tumblr’s simplicity and uber grasp of web 2.0 stuff is extremely pleasing though and won me over. It just feels right.
Plus it fits right in with my Flickr account — I’ll have to add a link to that.
